Syrenia Imagery has photographed various non-profit events, donated raffle items, and created advertising and graphic arts for non-profit organizations in San Diego and Riverside County.
This Photoshop project was directed towards challenging the creators to think outside the box and consider complex subject matter to make ones self identifiable without using the face or even necessarily having to use ones own body. I photographed myself in an ordinary space and used a desert background found online to create a realist image of a person wandering the desert to reflect the subject matter I chose for the text of the magazine cover. Working for National Geographic is one of my dream jobs, so the publication just seemed appropriate to reflect.
