Post 9/11 Museum is a mockery

I will never go here! This isn’t a museum. It’s a monument for justifying the war on terror from the anguish that so many had to suffer. I watched my friends and family cry over people lost. I cried out of unbelievable stress and grief from being trapped and left alone at LAX with no resource to find my way back home to my family, and then to find out why with nothing but concern for my loved ones and fear for my own losses. The way that the author depicts the settings describes, not a memorial, but a media frenzy playing on the hearts of the people. I don’t care if you’re too young to know or just don’t know any better. It’s not like the ancient Egyptians where relics are put on display centuries later; or the Holocaust Memorial Museums where images are shown and few survivors still lived to witness their openings. We haven’t even crossed a lifetime yet. This small piece of history that changed the face and the lives of America forever is still refusing to focus on the reality of what happened and why. Left to the media to create illusion while someone somewhere profits financially….
